Dear Guest, for over a year, we have been on a journey to adopt a more sustainable corporate culture, focusing on environmental responsibility. This is a long-term commitment that we pursue alongside our team and suppliers—and now we want to involve you as well.
We hope our efforts will lead to a “Sustainability Certification” that recognises our dedication.
Sustainability spans environmental, social, and economic dimensions.
Here are the nine core pillars of our promise for a better future:
- Human rights, relationships, and working conditions
- Health and safety
- Environmental impact
- Management of clients, users, and consumers
- Sustainable sourcing
- Organisational practices
- Engagement and development of the local community
- Sustainable economic growth
- Data protection and cybersecurity
What we are doing
We’ve long prioritised the wellbeing of our team, the cornerstone of our hospitality, by ensuring excellent working conditions in terms of safety, health, and financial support.
In the hotel, we’ve implemented numerous changes to reduce our environmental footprint. These include eliminating plastic wherever possible, exclusively using LED lighting, conducting meticulous waste sorting with a certified supplier to maximise responsible recycling, and providing guidance to our guests on minimising waste.
We are carefully selecting suppliers who share our sustainability goals. Additionally, we’ve introduced enhanced management practices, including adopting software that supports our green initiatives.
Our heating and cooling systems use high-efficiency condensing boilers (97% energy-efficient) and heat pumps during the spring, summer, and autumn.
All taps in the rooms are equipped with flow restrictors, and many toilets feature dual-flush systems to conserve water.
We aim to:
- Continue identifying like-minded partners and suppliers;
- Offer new training opportunities for our staff;
- Explore ways to contribute effectively to our local community;
Sustainability takes teamwork
What you can do:
- When leaving your room, turn off all lights using the master switch by the door;
- Adjust the room temperature to avoid unnecessary energy use;
- Follow our guidelines for responsibly using towels and linens;
- Turn off the tap when not in use to save water;
- Use the bathroom bin for general waste, the room bin for paper, and leave glass, aluminium, and plastic on the desk—our housekeeping team will collect and sort them. If you dine in your room, leave organic waste on the desk or call us for immediate disposal;
- Complete our quality surveys to let us know how we can improve;
- Take advantage of our strategic location—reach us and explore the city without a car;
